Hello

Just found out I got wait-listed at the only MBA program I applied to this year. I was actually expecting a big fat NO.

1. In my application, I omitted several EC activities both in school and post-school because of my stupidity I guess...The wait-list email instructed if there is new information, I should notify the adcom

Will these EC count as "new"? I believe they will address the one weak point of my application (lack of EC, although they were not new. Just unmentioned)

2. Can I also mention new patent applications (will be published officially soon) in the last three months?

3. I guess mentioning slight change in the specialization selected is not recommended?

Your help is greatly appreciated....

I would focus on the ECs you left out as well as the patents, etc. and other things that have transpired since applying over any changes of mind you have had about specialization. You don't want to communicate a lack of vision or commitment to goal, which you might risk if you go tweaking your plans. Adcom should be far more forgiving for omissions of things you did but inadvertently left out because you were not sure they would be impactful. Good luck.
