Dear Consultant,
As I begin my quest for MBA from a top school, thought will take inputs from you. My profile details are as below:
1. Location: India
2. Educational Qualifications: Graduation in Mechanical Engineering ( Tier 2 school, top 10% of class)
MBA - Top 10 campus in India( Among top 25% of the class)
3. Work Ex: 48 months as of April 2009. (First 12 months with a MNC FMCG and next 36 months with another MNC FMCG). Experience in Green Field projects, Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Current company one of the largest FMCG globally. Fastest growth trajectory in my function in India organization. Lot of recognition at work.
4. Extra Curriculars: Lot of extra curriculars from school days till MBA. Not much extra curriculars at job ( the only mentionable being I used to do mock interviews for MBA aspirants. MBA aspirants of Indian B-Schools)
I am yet to give my GMAT. Targeting September/October 09.
I realise there will be a lot of schools that may not be keen to take folks with prior MBA. I am not very keen to do the MBA if I can't make it to top 10 US Schools or top 2-3 European schools.
In the schools which will be open to take prior MBAs, how clutter breaking will my profile be? How do you suggest that I go about strengthening my profile over next 6 months?
Thanks a lot in advance
Regards
V
