Hi,

I'm looking at getting into a part time MBA program here in Southern California. My main options are UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, Chapman, and UC Irvine.

My GPA was low and GMAT average.

What do you think my chances are getting into the aforementioned MBA programs?

Well, best would be if you could retake the GMAT. With low GPA + low GMAT, that's a double whammy that you don't want to have. If you haven't yet taken a GMAT course, it'll probably help you lots, and it's a VERY worthwhile investment...

I thought I'd give an update. I applied to USC, Davis, and Irvine. Got accepted to all three! Should have applied to UCLA too but that ship has sailed. Part time programs emphasize your work experience more. I think they also like the fact that your employer is sponsoring your MBA (meaning they believe in you).
