Hey Jon,

I just wanted to thank you, Lauren and Yaron for your help throughout the admission process and I'm happy to share with you that I just got accepted in the EMBA program at Oxford. I'm happy about this great news and all the friends and professors I met yesterday during the MBA fair, were very impressed and happy with my choice.

First of all, I'm really happy to hear the great news!

Oxford is an amazing program.

Now, the answer you were maybe expecting: I can't make this decision for you. Is Oxford "good enough"? Is LBS better? Is it worthwhile? Do you want to defer? What does a year later mean to you professionally and personally? What are the chances of you getting 50+ points higher? A tough question, and no easy answer....

Buuut I could say this: Do you like Oxford? would you be happy getting an MBA from the school? Do you like the people? I mean ultimately, Oxford is still Oxford, the oldest university in the West... so it does have a pretty good name! :) If you are happy, then why look for "more" for "better rankings" (what does the difference between 1st and 5th ranked mean?). Or is on the contrary, LBS your biggest dream???
