Profile Eval Please - Langone

Hi - I am considering applying to Langone for the Fall 2012 term.
Will you please provide a critique of my profile?

Undergrad - North Carolina State University
Double Major: Economics and Political Science
GPA: 3.0
President of Fraternity
School student judicial board for 4 years
Employed at a bank throughout undergrad


6 years of experience all in financial services at a top tier firm.
2 years in internal audit for Investment Bank
4 years in capital management (Basel 2). Directly managed other associates.

GMAT: 630

So far looks pretty good. You have some really GREAT Extra curriculars in college, which will help you out quite a bit. The one obvious point for improvement is the GMAT. You COULD apply with a 630, but you have enough time to retake, so why not give yourself even better chances. I think in your profile it is especially important because your GPA is 3.0, so if you can really just break through with the GMAT, it will help better convince them that you are academically ready to go for an MBA.

Quick update...

Took the GMAT again and got a 640. Thought I was sitting in a good place.
My verbal is 41. However, my quant is a painfully low 36.

I feel good about a 640 but think that the 36 quant will raise flags with admissions. How concerned should I be?

Application deadline is 5/15 so I do not have the option to take the test again.
