Years(as of now):- 3 years 4 months
I am working with one of the Big 4 professional services Firm as a Consultant.
I work specifically on Enterprise Resource Planning review & implementation projects as a Functional Consultant.
Worked as Lead consultant in 4 different projects across different functions ( Supply Chain, Financials, Manufacturing)
I have worked only for Indian clients and worked at 15 client locations. Therefore I have been exposed to real time functioning of both manufacturing and Services Firms.( I find it very dynamic and interesting)
Mentored 3 Junior consultants.
Active in Company recruitment drives.
Also involved in Business Development activities. ( Preparing Proposals, responding to Client queries and giving presentations to C-Level executives)
GMAT : 710 ( VA 33, QA 51). AWA : 4.5
Academics:
Engineer from a Top 15 engineering College, GPA: 7.7/10
Topper : High School Examinations (91%)
Achieved Rank within 2% of 170000 in engineering entrance exam.
Had my High school education in 9 different cities spread across 5 different states. ( Being a Govt. of India Employee, My father gets a new posting every 2-3 years.)

I am an avid reader: world politics, History, Biographies.
Interests: trekking, road trips. I have done really long road trips : Driven across the highest motor-able road in the world( Ladakh, India) and many more.
Career Goals: Management Consultancy in Emerging Markets. Focus towards reviving struggling firms by identifying inefficiencies and introducing best practices.
Concern: Enterprise Resource Consulting is in fact IT Consulting( which puts me in the most common group). But being a functional consultant, I have faced client issues in person and in the process had great learning of processes. What should be the action plan to distinguish myself.
Also, please let me know ..
1. Is my profile competitive enough for Top 10 US B Schools? What are the major loop holes in my candidacy?
2. Do I need to Retake the GMAT. I have just 67% in Verbal and 4.5 in AWA. Can these be red flags?
3. Should I focus more on extracurricular activities beyond work?
