So first of all about the GMAT - you are right that Indian candidates tend to have extraordinarily high GMATs, buuuuuut at the same time the folks who get in don't have just high GMATs but also amazing profiles, great essays, and good stories. A 720 should be enough for any Top program (although it is true that a bit more would be helpful for Top 5 programs).

What is important from here on in is rather the rest of your profile, which seems to be pretty good actually. At least the work part of your profile. Although it will also depend a bit on where you worked and what exactly you did.

So before I jump in and evaluate you maybe you can send me more info? Like"
- Where you worked
- What your job titles were
- Whether you have any leadership
- Whether you have any promotions


Your post-MBA goals are quite interesting, and unique, but right now they don't fit together. You have a ST goal that is totally separate from the long-term goal, which is causing your goals not to make sense really. So you should think about choosing ONE of the two industries you suggested, and going with that.

Okay I had a look at the resume you sent me. Thanks for the additional info. It's very helpful. So I think, in a nutshell that Top 20 is pretty reasonable. Top 5 will be a bit of a stretch, but the rest should be within range, and Id suggest you concentrating most of your energies there.
