Hi Pallavi,

We see lot of positives.
Masters degree and your work ex differentiate you from other Indian applicants. International experience will for sure add value.

If you can get a 740 or so then your candidature will be pretty strong.

So, dont worry about extra curriculars. Agree you are a bit weak on that front but French language knowledge and few other initiatives ( just dig more into what you have done in the past, your interest areas e.g. Another language, blogging, associations with clubs etc and take it to the next level) can help you if used well.

So you should focus more on GMAT because if that is screwed the chances go down drastically.

Hope that helps. Feel free to contact us for any queries.

Hi

Thanks so much for the encouraging words.

As im sure good schools (not limited to the ones in my list) receive a lot of applications from Indian candidates and as such would have developed a sort of filter to separate the 'usual Indian profile' from the ones worth pursuing.

Any handy tips on the schools I mentioned w.r.t what they look for in Indian candidates and specifically what stands out in my profile as a female Indian applicant.

List of schools for immediate referral,

Insead,HEC,IESE,IE,London Business School,National University of Singapore,IMD,NYU.

Thanks again !!

Hi soni_pallavi,

Agree with Apphelp team that you should focus on GMAT for now.

There is no set pattern of Indian applicant pool that the admission committees have in mind. Typically lot of engineers with IT background apply. But, not being part of typical pool should not make you complacent. So, do not think much about which B-school will look at what type of pool. If you have checked all the right boxes, you should not worry much about that.

Also, focus on getting solid leadership experiences at you work place. Ask for projects which will offer you such opportunities. Solid experiences at work place will go a long way in strengthening your application. Master your extra curricular. Superficial knowledge of French may not leave a great impression but some sort of fluency will.
