Xth(2002) -cbse - 84%
XIIth(2004)- cbse - 87.4
BTech(2005-2009) - Electrical and Electronics - NIT Surathkal - 6.88/10 cgpa
Extracurriculars - 1)Convenor of college annual cultural fest.
2) Started a coaching institute providing coaching to students at a subsidized rates.
3) Helped start a company in KPO sector and did business development for the same.
Professional:
- 2009 to 2010 - Joined National thermal power corporation from college. Worked there for a year as Executive Engineer. Worked in operations, maintenance, quality departments.
But realised was more interested in working in a much smaller company with much more involvement on the business side and shifted to a start up.
- 2010 to 2012 - Worked in a multi faceted role in a recruitment start up (currently India's largest in engineering fresher assessment and recruitment industry) - Work involved Sales, Marketing, Client Consulting and Delivery, Operations, Content development(part time).
Directly worked with founders of the company.
Have significant experience of setting up business processes and scaling them up.
- Oct 2012 to Present - Just started working in a management consulting firm as an analyst( this involves learning many technologies (SQL,SAS, SPSS) and using these tools for modelling). Mainly catering to ecommerce and telecom industry.
Experienc by March, 2013 : 3 years and 8 months
The strengths I am planning to showcase:
Diverse background, risk appetite, steep learning curve, transformational/ engaging leadership skills, entrepreneurial bent.
GMAT score : 690 (QA 52, VA 31, AWA 5.5)
Would appreciate if you can provide your views on the same.
