Hello,

For US schools, you would be an international student; you'd be considered Asian. While Asians are obvious over-represented in the MBA applicant pool (especially for top programs), within this pool, people with Filipino background are not very common. Moreover, your background with and your experience assisting migrant workers further differentiates you - both within your demographic group and your industry. Adcoms will view your application holistically, not just put you in the "Asian" batch, so this differentiation will help you. I would consider you a competitive applicant to the programs you mention, from the information provided -- assuming strong, on-target applications.

Best regards,
