Hello All,

Would be great to have this forum's suggestion/inputs on Selecting right B-schools. My profile for evaluation mentioned below.

Profile:
Nationality: Indian
Undergraduate: Anna University affiliated college: Engineering Degree( Electrical and Electronics) 2009 Batch. GPA 2.7/4
Work exp: 4 years
Industry: Marketing (Event Industry).
Function: Digital Marketing ... all 4 years.
Age: 25
Planned intake: 2019 Jan onwards
GMAT : Planned date Feb 2018.

Please suggest me the how to select the right B-School?

First, congratulations on planning ahead and realizing that the MBA admissions process is a marathon- not a sprint. So you thinking now about applying in a future year is great. Because it means you have time now to learn what you need so that when you apply you are really ready. First ask yourself where you want to work post MBA. If it is US- then look at US schools. If you would consider Canada- then look there. Europe? look there. So once you have an idea of where you want to work post MBA, then look at for WHAT you want to do, which schools have strong programs. Then look at your GMAT and target programs where you are in 80% range. There is no shortcut for research in this process. Without knowing your GMAT score range it is hard to say where you should focus- but for digital marketing in the US MBA landscape, I think of some of the offerings at Wharton, Kellogg, Fuqua, and McCombs just as some places to start looking. It's a good thought to pursue an MBA. You have planned for 2019 intake which mean you have plenty of time to work on your profile. There are certain questions which you must seek an answer for. Why MBA? What's your post MBA Goals? What's your budget? Where do you want to work post MBA? Your geographical preference.
