Low AWA?

by paul6835 » Mon Jan 17, 2011 7:35 pm
I scored a 710 on my GMAT 40/47 V/Q but a 4.0 on my AWA due to rushing it (ugh)

Should I retake my GMAT? Does this matter? I have a degree in Computer Engineering so I'm worried this will reflect poorly even though I did well on the verbal. I'm also currently working in solution sales, so my career would suggest the opposite of poor writing skills. (this is for an EMBA)

I'm looking at Texas, Columbia, Duke, and UNC

paul6835,

You should be fine with that AWA given your verbal score.

Good luck,
