Nafeez,

Your verbal score is a concern, so if you have evidence (e.g., practice tests) that you can raise it, retake it. Your existing PGDM may also be a minor issue that you'll want to explain. Your leadership (Asst. Mgr. + NGO) seems strong. You should be competitive at all four schools. In the UK, you consider schools like Said, Judge, Cranfield, Cass, and in the US you could consider schools like Purdue, Notre Dame, Georgetown, CMU, UT, Washington (Olin), UNC, and Indiana.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Paul

I will be giving my GMAT again (Within 5 weeks from now). My quans score is very stable around 47-49 but the verbal score is a concern (Max of 38 during practice tests, with average around 34). Hopefully should break into 700+

My main concern is that I might miss the deadline for R2, and going by the figures R3 will have a lower acceptance rate than R1 or R2. Should I apply for R2 and update the score(after retake) or attain a score and then apply to the desired universities confused on that front

Thanks
Nafeez

Nafeez,

Meet the second-round deadline, even if that means going with the score you have. If your schools will consider a post-deadline GMAT score, then take advantage of that fact. But push all your applications to the third round just for the sake of a GMAT test that may not raise your score.

Hope this helps,
