Let know my chances and colleges I can look for
Nationality: Indian male
Age: 26
GMAT: 600 -650 (Expected)
Educational Backgrounds:
BE in Biotechnology from Visveswaraiah Technological University, Karnataka, India. - First Class - 62% - 2007
12 - 72% - 2003
10 - 78 % -2001
1. Professional Background: Experience: 3 yrs (till date)
Associate - Research and Implementation for a Indian based Product company in Ecommerce sector ( 1 year )
Formulating email marketing strategy and carrying the campaigns and Research support for sales team
2. SEO Executive - leading Automobile focused Internet solution provider ( 8 months)
SEO and Web analytics for US car dealers
3. Data analyst -A Marketing agency ( 1.5 yrs )
client serving and web analytics for HP portal, Database marketing , Founding member of companies new division for research activities - Research and analysis of Enterprise companies In India for about their IT intelligence
I have not worked for very well known companies! And also worked in 3 companies in 3 years!!
Extra-Curricular Activities:
1.Won prize in U 15 district level chess competition in Mysore.( Don't have the certificate now)
4. Successfully participated in 48-hour Filmmaking Competition.
5. Certificate holder in Scriptwriting and Filmmaking.
6. Made a short film for a leading telecom company.( It is through competition not a directly from company)
7. Co founded Dotslashers production - involved in making short films and ads.
8. Writing and reading stories and screenplays and movie review
9. Avid reader - fiction, nonfiction, magazines and newspapers
10. Board game geek
11. Like traveling and exploring new places and stuffs.
Languages known: English, Kannada and Hindi
International Exposure: None
Reason for doing an MBA: Career Switch
I like to move to consulting or finance and Marketing is also fine in Europe or North America and in media and Entertainment sector (preferred)
Area of interest: Strategy, Research and Media and Entertainment
PS : I do like to pursue PHD after MBA or few years after MBA
Target Schools:
I like to do my MBA in Europe( Expect UK)North America mostly Canada , Singapore and India.
Please let me know should i prove any other information
