Got Admission but confused to go for it

by harshnaik22 » Tue Apr 29, 2014 12:54 am
Hi All,

I recently got admission to Full time MBA at Thunderbird School of Global Management. They have offered me around 30 % in scholarship. I wanted your opinion about the school and the offer. I have also been called for an interview with IE Business School. While, I know Thunderbird is a very reputed B-school but I wanted expert reviews from admission consultants as this is a huge investment for me and want to make the best out of it.

Regards,
Harsh

Hi Harsh

First off congratulations on getting the admit! Thunderbird is a 2 year program whereas IE's MBA program is a 13 month program which is more general in nature. IE ranks in the top 10 schools in the world and has produced some fine MBA students. Thunderbird even though top ranked for International Business might be slightly lower as far as quality is concerned and also in comparison to IE business school.

Our advice would be to at least interview with the school and determine the feel you get after it and then maybe take a decision when IE also comes back to you with an admission offer.

Good luck!

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

Also to get a better understanding try ti get in touch with students already studying there and seniors passed out of B-School.
It will help to clarify some of your concerns. In the mean time if you get an admit from IE, you will be able to make a more informed decision.

Good Luck!!
