Resume update query

by brightside » Tue Jan 22, 2013 12:34 pm
Dear consultants, I have a problem with my resume that I submitted for a school. I started the school's application in Round 1. In quoting my current job in the resume, I used "Sep 2009 - Nov 2012", instead of using "Sep 2009 - Present". But I had to postpone the application submission to round 2 and I forgot to update the resume and submitted the application. Will this create an impression that I left the job? Would it be a good idea to mail the school to correct this? - I am worried whether it would create a negative impression.

Thanks in advance!

Yes!!! absolutely EMAIL them! and quick! Them thinking you dont have a job can seriously diminish your chances!!! So write a quick email to all schools explaining that you had meant to write "until present"
