I am currently a junior at a Big Ten school attempting to lay the foundation of what will hopefully become a successful admission to a top 5 business school. I would love to hear any insight as to the steps I should take to best position myself for success in the admissions process. My background is likely to entail an investment banking role with the desire to utilize business school as a launching pad into venture capital or entrepreneurship. As such, my ideal schools would be HBS, Yale, Stanford, Wharton, or Sloan. Note: I struggle with standardized tests, and cannot foresee north of high 600's to very low 700's on the GMAT.

Current Academic Profile:

Cumulative GPA: 3.7/4.0 Major(Finance) GPA: 3.9/4.0
Admitted as one of 20 scholars into the university's financial institute
Director of business development and national chair of a non-profit consulting organization

Current Work Experience Profile:

Middle Market Investment Banking
Group of Angel Investors
Hedge Fund - Fund of Funds
Bulge Bracket Wealth Management

Thanks in Advance!
