There are excellent schools in Singapore, but they are very competitive. You will need a strong work record, great GPA and outstanding GMAT score to be accepted. There are several sources that rank international business schools. Two good sources are the London Financial Times and topmba.com. You can also find information on the school websites. Most schools will tell you what the average salaries are after graduation. Individual salaries, however, vary greatly depending on the field. You should check the field you are interested in to see what the entry salaries for MBAs are likely to be.

Career switching can be difficult. Schools do not want to be seen as places to escape a bad career decision. You will need to identify a career path you are interested in and be prepared to explain why you want to work in that field, how your skills and experience prepare you for that industry and why you believe you will be successful.

Only you can evaluate whether leaving a successful career to start over is a good move. If you are unhappy, the chances for continued success are not great. however, if you are looking at a field in which you have no experience, that can be risky. You may want to get more experience in hospitality to see whether that would really fit your skills and interests.

Good luck,
