Dear Madam,

I am a Chartered Accountant from India.

Based on the mock tests i have given i should be able to reach a score of 720 in the GMAT.

My total work ex is 2 years.

I have also cleared CFA level 1 and will be appearing for Level 2 this June.

Is my profile decent enough to be admitted to one of the top b schools??

How can i strengthen my profile further?

Dear Abhijit,

Not sure if your question was directed to someone in particular but here it goes nonetheless.

There are several components of your profile that eventually determine its strength and preparedness. You have not mentioned the nature of your work or achievements, if any. While academically you are in a good space, there are many other aspects you need to consider.

Hi Abhijit,

You have decent profile for the top B-schools, the next step for you is to prepare well for GMAT and target 720+ GMAT. Along with GMAT you need to build your overall profile in terms of leadership experience, profile diversity, involvement in community activities, extra curriculars, awards and recognition at workplace, your achievements, these attributes play a very crucial role so focus on these. Hey Abhijit,
Well for a chartered accountant you'd probably need at least one more year experience to make your profile strong. In the meanwhile you can see what you can do to strengthen your profile and see about that GMAT and TOEFL.
