Hello,
I am new to the forum so I apologize if I have posted in the wrong place. I may have a choice of going into Big 4 Public Sector Consulting or going into Wells Fargo's UHNW boutique branch, Abbot Downing, as an analyst. I am a senior at a large state school. I was wondering, all else was equal, whether MBA (top 5) admissions would want a consultant from a Big 4 firm or an investment manager from Wells Fargo's Abbot Downing.
If I went Big 4 I would get my CPA and if I went Wells Fargo I would get my CFA. I have an interest in consulting and finance so either one would suit me well. I am just wondering about the prestige of each firm and their respective division.
Thanks!
