Reg next generation GMAT

by sivaelectric » Thu May 26, 2011 10:11 pm
I am taking GMAT test this year but I am planning to apply later and not immediately. May I know what will happen to the present GMAT test scores once the next generation GMAT test is introduced. Will the B'Schools consider both the scores on the same level or will there be different benchmarks for old and the new GMAT test types
If I am wrong correct me :), If my post helped let me know by clicking the Thanks button ;).

I am not a consultant and may probably not be the respondent you are looking for.

But I can say that nothing will happen to your current scores. The score will still be valid for 5 years.
Also, the new GMAT does not change its Verbal/Quant Content. So the chances of your score being lesser validity are minimal. How each school handles the 2 scores is a different question altogether.
But I am confident you will not be at a disadvantage if you are applying with the current score as long as it is valid.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)
