Hi There!
I am slightly confused about how strong a candidate I stand, so needed your suggestion on the same.
I am a female
Age- 28
nationality - Indian
Non- Engineer, B.commerce and then subsequently did MBA from a top college in India.
I went on to join the consumer goods industry which is unconventional for women. I hold a strong sales backgroud. My total work experience is 53 Months, starting with a traditional Indian company for the first 2 years and subsequently joined Pepsico where I worked for 1 year. Later went on to Join Colgate Palmolive in their business development team.
However, I had to quit my job 3 weeks back and move to United states to be with my husband. I am currently not working and the laws do not allow me to work for next 3 months. Any employement is possible only january onwards
You think this Hiatus will create a problem and will be a sticky issue?
I intend to write GMAT in Dec, aiming 700+. also looking at top 15 colleges only.
although I always wanted to write my GMAT, I think this is a great time to prepare but am also concerned about this issue.
how do you think are my chances, reflecting on this gap in work, can this be substituted with some extra curriculars that I could take up during this time?
Would be great to hear your advice.
