Hi there,
I would like someone from BTG to please have a look at my profile & let me know if it can make a cut at US B schools like Tuck, Darden, Columbia, Carnegie, NYU etc for Finance Specialization.
10th - 82.6%
12th - 77.8%
Graduation - 67.12% (Electronics Major) (Tier 2 college) Amongst the top 30% of the class (Know this as I was the class representative) but don't think our college can give a Letter of Proof for this.
Extra Curricular :
State Talent Search Exam rank holder (Precursor to NTSE)
Many awards in Mathematics at school & Inter-school levels.
4 time District Roller Skating champion.
B plan presented in All India Category amongst the top 200 across India(Amongst the top 30 in Tech Category)
NSE Certificates in Financial Markets.
Attempted CFA L1 but couldn't clear.(Will attept again next June).
Work Exp of 1 year in Tokyo,Japan, working directly with the client.
Awards of Merit/Recognition in Company : Performer of the Quarter.
Experience of part time teaching Maths for the last 6 years.
I am slated to give GMAT this Oct & targeting the before mentioned schools with a score of 720-740 (based on current mocks).
Please let me know if I can make a cut because I have a feeling that my relative less work ex & avg acads may play a spoilsport. Expert comments needed. Desperately!!
