Hello ,

I am unable to travel to college campus , so I would like to know the insight of MBA program through interaction with adcom or current students via mail. What is good points to talk to them and what not to talk?

Regards,
Piku

Piku,

Reaching out to current students is a great way to learn more about schools. The schools will often share contact information for students, particularly those in leadership positions for student clubs. I suggest reaching out to those for which you share a common bond - maybe you are from the same country, worked in the same industry, or share a common interest. You can ask if they are available for a short call to meet and so you can learn more about the school.

Keep in mind that they often receive many requests from prospective students, so it is important to demonstrate a common link and be respectful of their time.

I also suggest reading an excellent article on effective business calls: https://www.bothsidesofthetable.com/2013 ... fectively/.

Another way to meet current students and alumni is through local summer events. You can find information about these events on the schools' webpages.

Good luck!

Best,
Heidi
