Why MARKETING and WHY MBA NOW? :
After 7 very fruitful years, I consider that the moment for a change and refreshing has come.
After working for 7 years in R& D group in Semiconductor companies , I want to work in technical marketing ,where I'll be interacting customer one to one ,providing and understanding their perspective in a better way because of technical background.I want to take this challenge ,where one guy make big profit for his organization.
I always good marketing guy can help you sell average software/application/design ,whereas average marketing may not be able to sell the good design /application/software.
Responsibilities carried by marketing guy is ver very high ,because in a techie organization there is one marketing guy for 30-40 engineers.
On Top , I enjoy travelling ,so with marketing profile i will be able to achieve my both aspirations(Definitely I will not be writing this in Essay :)

Why MBA NOW:
Was in Europe from May 2008 to May 2010.
Wanted get more international exp. in my profile because of LOW GPA.

+- TR

Hi,

Thanks for for your post. You are pretty perceptive and seem to know your strengths and weaknesses. Your GPA is a bit low, but given you have yet to take the GMAT, I can't fully address your academic profile. However, you should know that as part of an oversubscribed applicant pool, your academics will be of importance. I strongly suggest aiming to score 720+ on the GMAT to help compensate for the lower undergraduate academic performance.

While you have solid work experience and clear goals, you will want to find a way to distinguish yourself from others in the applicant pool. Perhaps some of your extracurricular involvement can be used in some of your essays.

Since I don't have your GMAT score I can't determine just how competitive your are likely to be for admission at the schools for your list. However, I suggest you consider adding a few top 20 schools to your list in addition to the top 10 programs currently on it.

Best,

Stacey
