Choosing the right books and institute

Hi Gurus,

I have got 5 years work ex, mainly related to Investment Banking, Treasury, Forex domain. Currently I am working as a Business Systems Analyst at a leading bank in Australia. I also have a strong technical background.

I want to do an Executive MBA in Finance (preferably from a top institute in India) and come back to a position where I can utilise the strong Business skills with the technical foundation. Any Indian institute that you can suggest?

While looking out for good prep books for GMAT prep, I got a very vast list and need your help in choosing the right set. As of now I have planned to buy the official guides (Overall, Verbal, Quant) set. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I'm afraid that I'm not familiar enoughwith Indian EMBA programs to make recommendations. However, I note that ISB opened an EMBA program in 2009, and considering the high quality of the school overall, it would certainly warrant consideration.

I also don't know about GMAT books -- I don't specialize in GMAT but rather MBA and EMBA admissions overall. However, there are a wealth of GMAT experts on other areas of this site that could help you with your second question.
