Summer preterm session

by linh-vn » Wed Sep 16, 2009 8:38 am
Hello,

I have read that it was strongly advised to take a summer preterm session before starting your mba in fall, especially if you are not very familiar with accounting, finance and maths.

Would somebody know which schools offer that programme ? Is it a year-rolling class or is it only available during summer ?

Thanks for your help !

Linh

The most econominal way to prepare for core business courses if you do not have a business undergrad degree or minor is to take the courses at a local community college. An alternative of course, is self-study.

Some programs offer high-level 2-day seminars in select subjects (usually Statistics or Financial Accounting) but most do not.

Hope this helps.
