Do I need to re-take GMAT? Please advise

by dhody1986 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 4:04 am
Hi

I belong to the Indian IT Male pool and I am planning to apply to US and Canadian B schools in fall , 2012. I have already taken GMAT in June 2011.
Score : 730 (49Q , 40V)
However since I appeared for GMAT in June 2011 , my score would be almost 17-18 months old at the time of application. I am concerned that Universities might ask me to re-take GMAT. As far as I know scores upto 3 years old are acceptable. Is my score valid enough to apply or should I re-take GMAT to avoid last minute hassles? Please advise.

Thanks and Regards
Gaurav

Your score is good for 5 years. No reason for you to retake it. You are all set, focus on a great application and congrats on the solid score.
