Hi experts,

As an MBA aspirant, targeting a elevated career in management consulting post MBA, I applied to Tepper(CMU) and Kelley(Indian) programs.
The outcome is :

Tepper - With no Scholarships

Kelley - With almost 50% (scholarship+assistanship)

As an candidate from India, I have to keep the financial constraints in mind because I would need to apply for [email protected]% for a $100K(in case of Tepper).

So Gurus, please help me out in deciding the right choice for me at this point of time.

My brief profile:
------------------------------------------

Undergrad - Engineering in Information Technology(From League-2 college in India )

Work experience - Technology & CRM consulting/implementation for almost 7 Years

Post MBA goal - Management Consulting

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello,

Congratulations on your acceptances!

I suggest researching, evaluating, and comparing the post-MBA prospects at both programs. Closely review the recruiting track records, and also talk to both career services offices to discuss your profile and their experience with people like you obtaining your target jobs. If you find they're on par or Tepper is only slightly better, you might reasonably opt for Kelley. If you find Tepper is much stronger in the final analysis, you might consider accepting the short-term financial burden. But where on that scale it would tip in favor of Tepper is to some extent subjective for you.
