Dear admissions consultants,
I'm a recent undergrad (European, female) and looking to apply for a Master's degree commencing next fall. I was wondering if you could provide me with a short evaluation of my profile in regards to the LBS Master in Management and possibly also the LSE Master in Management (2 year program).
I am aware that my GMAT is slightly below average for LBS (GMAT class average is 685 according to brochure) and probably even more below average for LSE. For LBS however I was hoping that my international experience could compensate for that given the school's emphasis on the importance of internationality. I have also been contemplating retaking the GMAT to shoot for a 700+, this would probably take me another 6 weeks and therefore delay my application. Should I rather apply early or take another 2 months to improve my GMAT?
Thank you very much in advance for your advice, I really appreciate your help.
My profile:
GMAT: 670 (Q44, V38), IR 6, AWA 5.0
Undergrad: Business administration, 3.0 GPA from top 3 university in Germany (top 20% of class)
Other experience:
- several internships with multinational companies (Big 4, major consultancy, multinational in China and private equity fund in US, each 3 months, very good testimonials)
- international experience: graduated from high school in US, 2 internships abroad, speak 4 languages fluently
- extracurriculars: been an active member of the university's consulting club; founded a social initiative in my home town; helped with organization of several conferences; volunteer work; captain of tennis team
