Hi all,
I'd love to get some feedback from the community both about the relative strengths and weaknesses of my profile, as well as about the schools i'm considering.
GMAT 710 (44 Quant, 42 Verbal) (don't have official AWA score back yet but got a 6 the previous time I took the exam)
Undergrad GPA 3.7 University of California, Santa Barbara
BA Comm. with Distinction, Minor in English
5 years of work experience in national retail as a buyer
I'm interested in general management, marketing and consulting. To that end i'm seeking a good fit for my qualitative skillset (ie. not a heavily finance-centered quant program). I'm perfectly comfortable with the quant side, but I do not plan on going into finance, accounting or other careers of that nature after graduating.
HBS, Kellogg, UVA, Tuck, and Anderson are some of the top schools that seem to match my interests, however given their extremely competitive nature, I'd be very interested in hearing further suggestions for programs.
Thanks,
Chris
