Hi,

I am on the waitlist for McCombs. Just received an email yesterday that I have to record a video interview via 'LikeLive'. Anybody has any idea about the type of questions that are asked? Is it similar to the normal interview process except that pre-fed questions are being asked by the software? Please help. Have to submit it before 25th!

Also, please suggest whether I shall consider this as a positive sign for my application that I have received an invite for this video interview, or this is the protocol for every waitlisted applicant.

Right now do not waste your time wondering whats and whys. Rather than that please start preparing your answers and be confident about them. Even if they are being recorded some human is going to listen to them and give you some points on them, so I advice prepare all important questions very well. A few MBA interview questions that may be asked:

HR Questions - Why MBA, why now, why McCombs etc.?

Domain Questions - About your work, professional life? What kind of projects you worked on etc.

Leadership and team example questions - You may be asked to give an example of any situation wherein you exhibited excellent team and leadership skills.
