I will appreciate any feedbacks about my profile :

I am planning to apply for Fall 2011

GMAT : 640 (46Q V 33)
Work Experience : 6 years
Education : Masters (Electrical Engineering)
GPA : 3.5/4
Industry : Non Profit & Profit

I did my Bachelors in India from a pretty reputed institute. I worked for an year with a Multinational Company before deciding to start my Masters in US.After my graduation I have worked with a traditional Power utility company, Energy Trading company & a Non profit company, all in the Power utility business. My only reason for pursuing an MBA is due to deregulation in Electricity industry leading to opening of various electricity markets in US.

I was very actively involved in various social activities in my under grad level. Grad level was all about research & studies. I am targeting UC Berkeley part time program. Also with this kind of profile Do I have any chances of getting through any one year MBA programs in Europe ? What other full time program can I target in US ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Heyabhi,

If you haven't already, I recommend taking the GMAT again to improve your score. Although a low GMAT isn't a deal break, with so much time remaining before the application is due, taking the GMAT again is probably the best way that you can improve your chances of getting accepted into UC Berkeley.

If you score in the 700+ range, you will have a shot at the top US MBA programs, depending on the caliber of school you are looking to attend in the US.
