Does the position of the reco'der matter?

by aj5105 » Fri Aug 15, 2008 6:59 am
Hi Lisa,

I have chosen a couple of them in my organisation who are ready to give the reco letters. Both of them hold the position of TECHNICAL LEAD.Both of them have a fair idea about the skills I have displayed.

Wanted to know whether the standing (position) of the recommender within the organisation matter ?

thanks!
AJ

Dear AJ,

What matters most about your recommenders is that they can evaluate you in professional setting. If these two people have worked with you closely for at least a year and will give you a positive recommendation, then they are the best choices.

Regards,
Lisa
