MBA from Non-Ranked School - Job Outlook?

by jamesmorris » Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:53 pm
I am a future graduate and I'm receiving offers to work for various universities. The problem is I am young and won't be able to receive offers to work at top 15 schools. Their average GMAT scores are in the 500s, while I scored in the early 700s. How does this effect my future job outlook? I bring quality, but I don't want to university I attend to reflect negatively on my quality. It's really hard to say no to a free education and job, especially during a recession.

Moreover, how does this effect my chances if I wanted to get an Executive MBA from a top school?

Hi J,
Sorry, I am a bit confused about your question. I believe you are looking to work at a university and get an MBA (from the same institution) at the same time?
