Hi, I took the gmat twice and scored 610 and 540, I actually scored higher on the quant my second time but my verbal score was pretty low. I want to do a part-time mba in the fall 2011 and I want to apply to the following schools:
Reach: NYU
Competitive: Fordham, UConn
This is just based my gpa, gmat, work experience compared to class profiles on each program's website. I really would like to get into NYU as I feel their concentrations and course offerings suite my needs the best. But my gmat is on the lower end of the spectrum there. I'm just wondering if it would be worth it to take again? Is there a real difference between a 610 and 650?
I do not think I'll score much higher than 650 or so. I'm working a lot and get home late so I'm not able to put in the proper study time. When I had some time off a few weeks ago my practice scores were 570-610 range with 660 my highest but I had seen a few of the questions on previous tests before. Not to mention the test is very expensive to take. Would it be worth it to take again or just focus on other parts of my application?
