Hi,
I wrote GMAT twice and have the following score :
1. 580 (Quantitative - 50, verbal - 19, AWA- 4.5)
2. 640 (Quantitative - 50, Verbal - 27, AWA-4.0)
I have the profile as below-
1. Graduate from IIT BHU, India with GPA - 3.23 (3rd rank holder in my Engineering)
2. Employee of Deloitte US, working in Hyderabad, India since last 2.5 years in Software Consulting- Have quality experience with client work(one US- Insurance Industry and one UK- Insurance Industry) where I worked on Annuity/risk software developmet and customer relationship management(Informatica) and in this short duration i have also been leaded 2 teams. have been rewarded as the "Exceeded expectation rating" for my work. Good networking with Director and senior managers hence would get good recommendations. I am known in the company as one of the best in Public speaking and have leaded many team events. I am also a part of Toastmasters International as I work in the Executive commitee of Deloitte Hyderabad Toastamsters club leading 60 members group. I have contributed alot to the club by starting the newsletter and the website for the club. I have also involved myself in Community services serving as thread lead on Impact day of Deloitte.
Why MBA-
I have woked on projects on Insurance Industry of US and UK and I observed that Indian Insurance Industry has a lot of scope of improvement. I want to continue my work in IT-Consulting especialy on Insurance industry, develop myself as manager and then bring back these learining to Indian Insurance Industry.
The schools that i am planning to apply at are -
1. Rice University: Jones
2. Michigan State University: Broad
3. University of South Carolina: Moore
4. George Washington University
5. University of Western Ontario: Ivey
6. Carnegie Mellon: Tepper
It would be great if you can tell me how my profile looks to get into one of these Universities.
