chance evaluation

I am looking to apply this year for the top schools.
Am I on the right track applying to these schools.
Age is probably a killer but there is nothing I can do
about it. what can I do to improve my chances and
what are my chances?

- Age 33+, Indian male, Technology background.
- GMAT: 730 (90%v, 90%q, overall 96%). AWA: 4.0
- IIT undergrad, MS from a top US school
- SF bay area technology: big-company, startup,
- moderate ECs during undergrad
- GPA 3.5
- Applying to hbs, wharton, sloan, columbia

I wish I could be more scientific but all I can say is that your chances are pretty good. You have a strong profile and you just need to transform it into a strong application. You will need to clearly define both your short and long-term goals and be able to discuss how the program(s) will position you to be successful in the future. You should also clearly define what you bring to the program (unique attributes/perspectives/experiences). Additionally, take advantage of opportunities to visit campus or attend local school-sponsored events so that you can build your network and learn more about the programs.
