Hi,

I have appeared for GMAT twice and secured 640 both the times. My main weakness is verbal and it's very clear to me that I cannot make any difference to the score next time if I prepare by my own. Specially, with all the work pressure I am not looking for that. I want to know if I can get through any of the decent programs with this score ? Following are my details:

Work exp : have a 5.5 yrs exp in financial analytics for a leading bank
Current Position : Manager, looking after a team of 4 members
Most recent academic degree : B.Tech in Computer Science ( 2005)
B.tech marks : 82%

Want to do my mba in entrepreneurship and want to setup something in India in the field of agriculture or something which can make a bottomline impact to masses in my country.

Can you please advise?

Thanks,

Hello,

It depends on what you mean by "decent programs" - if you mean top 15 level programs, the most competitive, I think it would be a pretty unrealistic reach with a 640 and considering all the other factors. Your work experience looks good, but competitive MBA programs will be looking for a higher GMAT. I suggest researching programs in the top-25 group, and also look globally, for a wider range of options.
