Hey Stacy,

I really need you help!

I've been accepted to GWU in the US, and MBS, Australia for my full time MBA. I am having trouble deciding which MBA program to pursue. MBS this year has totally revamped its program from a 2 yr to a 1 yr one.

To start of , its USA vs AUS, and then 2 yr vs 1 yr program.

To tell you a bit on my background, I am an IT guy from India, with a 4 1/2 yr work ex. Looking for a career shift into finance.

I have spoken to alums and current students of both schools. The each have given me pros and cons. But I still feel i'm a bit confused.

If you could help me in any way to clear my confusion, that would do wonders!

Thankyou

ambrishk,

I recommend you strongly consider where you'd like to be post-graduation. If you'd like to live in the US, then it makes sense to attend an MBA program in the United States. That is where your network will be. On the other hand, if you are more interested in Australia, then you should consider programs there. You should not underestimate the importance of location in your business school decision.

Cheers,

Conrad and the Stacy Blackman Team
