low cost colleges

by kasakimasaki » Thu Jul 24, 2008 5:57 am
Hi,

Can you suggest me universities that belong to top 20 or 25 category and are relatively cheaper (living + tution) when compared to other universities with comparable rankings.

Thanks

Dear kasakimasaki,

Tuition among MBA progams does vary, but not widely in the top 25. However, the cost of living does vary quite a bit based on where the school is located. I cannot speak to the cost of living outside the US, but in the US the less expensive regions would be the south, southeast, and midwest. The east and west coasts are the most expensive regions in the US.

If cost is a huge concern for you, you might consider looking at schools in the 25-50 range as they can be less expensive overall (tuition + living) and sometimes offer more scholarship dollars per student.

Best of luck,
Lisa
