Need Help with Advanced Chapters in MN Number Prop Book

Hi I am having issues with the the advanced chapters. The elements concerned with Absolute Values and Remainders do not make any sense to me. I know its advanced and all, but I do understand the basic chapters. The following elements do not make much sense to me:

Absolute Values
Remainders
Advanced Divisibility Primes
Advanced Odds and Evens
Advanced Positives and Negatives

Are there any books you would recommend, websites, or videos I could reference?
