well you dont need to find out what P is...can it be solved for? yes, just not in 2 minutes. there are a finite set of numbers that are prime between 2 and 3912, so it can be solved with either statement.
Statement 1: p is 100th Prime number in the seris (2,3,5...) - Sufficient
Statement 2: p prime numbers between 2 and 3912, as there are finite no of prime numbers in this range, we can compute p. - Sufficient.
