Hi ppl,
try to solve this one.
ABCD is a quadrilateral. Is AB=BC=CD=DA?
1. AC is perpendicular to BD
2. AB+CD = BC+ AD
• Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (2) ALONE is not sufficient
• Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (1) ALONE is not sufficient
• BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
• EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
• Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient
My explanation would be:
Since statement 1 says diagonals are perpendicular to each other, it is a rhombus and thus this stat is sufficient.
and
since statement 2 doesnt give a clue whether sides are equal or not.
Insufficient
hence, my ans will be A.
what do u guys say??
thanks,
nitug
