1 is what % lesser than 2 ?

Is it 100% (seen from perspective of 1) or 50% (seen from perspective of 2)

2 is what % greater than 1 ?

Same doubt here.

I guess it is a very silly doubt.Please can someone explain this.

1 = 2 - x% or x/100 = 1 or x = 100
So, 1 is 100% lesser than 2.

2 = x% + 1 or 1 = x/100 or x = 100
So, 2 is 100% greater than 1.

1 is half (or 50%) of 2. You can also say 2/1*1/2 = 1
2 = 1+1, so 2 is 100% greater than 1.
