Area of base of cube = 50 *50 =2500 square cm

If depth of water is d, then

2500 * d= 10* 1000
=> d= 4 cm

Total Volume = 10*1000 cm^3 = 10000 cm^3

New volume = 50*50*d cm^3

Equating both we get, d = 4 cm.
