Eight red balls numbered from 1 to 8 and eight blue balls numbered from 1 to 8 are put into basket A and B, respectively. If a blue ball and a red ball are selected at random, what is the probability that two balls have the same number?

Total number of possible selections = 8*8 = 64
Number of possible selections such that each ball has the same number = 8 {(1,1),(2,2),(3,3)..(8,8)}
Probability = 8/64 =
1/8
