According to the question, you want to make 200 6 ounce servings of OJ or 100 12 ounce servings.

The ratio is 1:3. 1 part concentrate to 3 parts water.

Therefore

1/4 * 100 = 25 cans of concentrate & 75 cans of water to make 1200 ounces of OJ.

Answer would be A.

First, find out how much total juice you need:

200 total cans, 6 oz. each = 1,200 oz. of total juice.

Since you need 1 oz. of concentrate for every 4 oz. of juice, then for 1,200 oz. you need 300 oz. of concentrate (think 1/4 = x/1,200, solve for x).

So, since the questions says that concentrate comes in 12 oz. cans, how many cans do you need to equal 300 oz. of conentrate? 12/300 = 25 cans. The answer is A.

Remember not to "cross the streams" when they throw around different container sizes.

Earlier I thought it to be 2006 ounce of OJ. Later I corrected it. I agree with answer 25
