What makes you think b is an integer? It could be 0.5. Then x doesn't have to be negative.Mia09 wrote:Got it from Kaplan.
My argument in this question is that b is given less than 1 i.e. b is negative or 0.
So for
,in 2x-b=0 x has to be negative for the equation to be 0.that means if b<0 as given x is also <0.
Th only option that proves this is B and hence i chose it.
As for the answer given we can clearly prove that for x=2 b=4; which proves the given b<0 wrong.
Please help me with this.
