Hi,
If a,b,c are the sides of the triangle then area of triangle is given by (1/2)*b*c*sine A
So, Area = (1/2)*(12)*(8)*sine A = 48 sine A
As 0<sine A<=1, area will be less than or equal to 48 and equality holds when the angle between these two sides is 90 degrees.
